Little but important!Have you been to Venice? By walking through the Little Town (or sometimes called the Lesser Quarter) you can admire one of the most beautiful parts of the city. Every turn takes you to small street with some hidden gems. And one of them is a small canal nicknamed Prague Venice or Little Venice. Yes, this is the place where Jame Bond pretended to be in real Venice, where Tom Cruise walked in Mission Impossible or Sean Connery in the League of Extraordinary Gentleman. Don’t you believe? It’s time to come and see 🙂
The part of the Little Town are many churches too – one more beautiful and important that the other one. Such as Church of Child of Prague (Infant Jesus of Prague) or beautiful barroque St. Nicholas Church which tower was used by spies during the communist regime, and the Cold War.
For me, one of the most interesting place is the wall called the John Lennon Wall that takes us again back to Communism when young people spontaneously started to express their thoughts here about the current regime.
